Wes Butler - Graphic Designer
Wes Butler is a freelance graphic designer based in Watford, Hertfordshire.
Wes Butler started out as a freelance graphic designer in June 2004, in Barnstaple, Devon, under the trading name of Blueball Graphics.
Inititally working from home then in December 2004 setup The Studio with some other freelancers in the area which enabled them to work together on many projects and also helped reduce overhead costs of running an office.
In May 2006 Wes and fellow members of The Studio Frank Stone (Stone Creavtive) and Ash Spain (Ash Spain Media) took up an offer from Bob Carter (MD of Carrier Direct Marketing) to rent some space within their new office building which enabled CDM to provide design services to their existing and new clients.
Wes had left his role as Designer at CDM only 2 years earlier to pursue his freelance path and was now back as part of a freelance design team.
One year later (May 2007) Wes was on the move again, this time a little further away. The destination was Melbourne, Australia to test out his dream of moving abroad.
After some consultation with many of his clients Wes decided on a 1 Year trip to Australia with the hope of being able to continue serving his UK clients from the land down under. The move was a big risk which could have undone 3 years of hard work building up his business if the clients weren't happy. In the end it turned out to be a great success and proof that in the age of the internet you can work from anywhere.
In March 2008 Wes returned to the UK; with his clients as happy as ever and also the with added contacts made in Australia. Wes began working form the CDM office once more but was only to be on a temporary basis as he had plans in place to move on once more for a fresh challenge.
In August 2008, Wes moved once more. This time to Watford in Hertfordshire. Now working from home in his little office (with an orange tree), Wes is still able to offer a professional and friendly service to the Hertfordshire community (and worldwide).
